Book Arts

My bookmaking practice is rooted in curiosity, texture, and play. I like to start with the materials – paper, thread, fiber, found elements – and respond to them as I work. Each book becomes a small exploration of form and function, guided by the feel of what’s in my hands and the rhythm of the process.

This piece uses a piano hinge binding, allowing the pages to move freely while creating a sculptural spine.

Book of WIPs

This book is custom made for its purpose. The end pages feature images of the SARS-CoV-2 Virus. The book serves as a catalog of what kept me busy during the spring of 2020, including young Tulip Poplar trees, linocut printing, fiber arts, and bookmaking.
